MOLLERIS guide

Children’s Books With Disability Representation

A thoughtful starting point for finding stories where disability is part of a child’s life — not always the entire plot.

Why this list?

Good representation can mean a character is deaf, disabled, neurodivergent or uses a mobility aid while still getting to have friendships, adventures, ambitions, humor and ordinary childhood moments.

We are not trying to create a definitive list. MOLLERIS is a curated shelf: we choose books because we think they are genuinely good, visually appealing and worth putting in front of a child.
